Telops is a leading supplier of hyperspectral imaging systems and high performance infrared cameras for the defence, industrial, environmental and research industries. Telops also offers R&D services for optical systems technology development in order to respond to the specific needs of its customers.
Since its beginnings in 2000, Telops has distinguished itself with the quality of its technical personnel and its innovative approach to many technological challenges in the optics field. Today, the expertise of Telops scientists, engineers and technologists in optical technology, and the performance of its infrared cameras and hyperspectral imagers are recognized internationally.
While being headquartered in Canada, Telops caters to an international market using an efficient network of distribution and representation.
Hyperspectral Imaging Cameras
Telops advanced hyperspectral imaging infrared sensors allow to detect and identify substances and targets which cannot be observed in the visible range. Coupled with the powerful Reveal D&I software, gases can be detected and identified in real-time.
The Hyper-Cam produces three-dimentional characteristics of target radiance which include spectral, spatial and temporal characteristics. This trio of readings makes it easier to acquire critical information about your targets and answer key questions such as: Is there a gas present and if so, where is it? Is there a hidden vehicle nearby? How is the signature evolving? The result is a much clearer picture of the situation.
Infrared Cameras
The Telops Infrared Camera Series allows non-contact remote sensing temperature measurement. As such, the high-performance, scientific infrared cameras can act as useful thermometers for measuring temperature under circumstances where thermocouples or other probe sensors cannot be used or do not produce accurate data. A typical example is to measure the temperature of moving objects or in applications where a fast response is required.
Five different high-performance scientific infrared cameras are available with IP ratings up to IP67, and frame rates of up to 1500 fps, full sensor. More precisely, Telops is a leading supplier of hyperspectral imaging systems and high performance infrared cameras for the defence, industrial, environmental and research industries. Telops also offers R&D services for optical systems technology development in order to respond to the specific needs of its customers.
Since its beginnings in 2000, Telops has distinguished itself with the quality of its technical personnel and its innovative approach to many technological challenges in the optics field. Cavitar
Cavitar experts in illumination lasers based on diode laser technology, used in many demanding high-speed imaging and machine vision applications.
CAVILUX illumination lasers have a higher power, brightness and efficiency than traditional light sources used in industrial process monitoring. Our lasers enable customers to see through heat and freeze fast motion. These unique features increase the accuracy of critical measurements in R&D applications. In industry our solutions enable improved real-time visual monitoring and ergonomics which leads to substantial cost savings in manufacturing. Fiber coupling enables compact solutions also in challenging industrial environments with limited space.
CAVILUX laser illumination has several unique features that enable completely new and improved measurement possibilities in various industrial and scientific applications. Our illumination laser technology is ideal for high-speed cameras of all speeds as well as for machine vision cameras.
With CAVILUX laser illumination it is possible to see through heat by eliminating thermal light from the object. It is therefore possible to see the process as if it were cold. This feature is especially important in welding industry and hot metal processing.
CAVILUX lasers also create very short pulses that can “freeze the motion” of very fast objects. This is of high importance when monitoring fast-moving industrial webs, flow processes at high magnification or in defense applications such as ballistics, explosions and shockwaves.
CAVILUX laser illumination enables the highest possible image quality in various applications. The compact, yet robust, design of our products enables the operation both in laboratory and production line environments. The possibility of fiber coupling also makes it possible to realize solutions in limited space.
Applications
Optronis High-Speed Cameras
What motivates us
Many processes run so fast or are barely visible to the human eye and so we fail to see the detail. But progress lies close to our hearts, and so Optronis has dedicated itself to addressing this problem since 1986. We are passionate about creating ways of making ultra-fast processes visible so that industry, science and research arrive at the best solutions faster and to greater effect.
We have been working in the field of ultra-fast optical measuring systems since the very beginning. Optronis has its roots in the company ARP (Applications of Research in Photonics) which was founded in France in 1986 and industrialized prototypes of streak cameras that had been developed at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) in Strasbourg. We have been drawing on the resulting know-how for the CamRecord slow-motion cameras for many years, and now similarly for the high-performance CamPerform Machine Vision cameras in the last few years. We use the expertise we have accumulated for our high-speed cameras to drive forward progress in industry. With the help of high-speed cameras as precision technical instruments, processes which are invisible to the human eye can be analyzed – and ultimately optimized.
