Other Cameras
Horne Technologies cc. aims to provide an effective service of specialist camera supply, and where possible, rentals, to researchers, engineers, maintenance managers etc. The cameras systems that we deal with are high-speed visual cameras, high-speed thermal cameras, thermal cameras, EMCCDs etc. However, if you have a camera requirement, for example based around a PIV or DIC set-up, please let us know how we can help you. We have a wide-ranging list of suppliers, contacts and experts that we work with. (click on logos above to jump to relevant section).
A new product available is round and square targets for high-speed filming measuring points. These are available in a number of different sizes (custom sizes can be quoted for). Also checkerboards for backgrounds and flight path visualisation are available. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
Cutting-edge digital video equipment
IO Industries
IO Industries, as well as designing cutting-edge digital video equipment and having vast experience in uncompressed digital video recording and high-speed imaging systems, IO Industries also focuses on compact digital video cameras.
The IO Industries Flare™ family of video cameras are useful for high-resolution inspection and high-speed capture. These cameras use advanced global shutter CMOS sensors with high dynamic range.
The complimentary DVR Express® Core family of digital video recorders provide SSD-direct, uncompressed recording from multiple cameras using most popular video interfaces.
And finally, the easy-to-use, low-cost 2ndLook software allows basic PC-based video recording from industrial cameras, while the more-advanced Streams™ 7 software adds synchronized data recording, broader video device support, and a powerful SDK.
experts in illumination lasers
CAVITAR
CAVILUX illumination lasers offer unparalleled power, brightness, and efficiency, surpassing traditional light sources in industrial process monitoring. Our technology enables customers to see through intense heat, making it possible to observe hot metal processing or welding as if the objects were cold. Additionally, CAVILUX lasers create ultra-short pulses that effectively “freeze the motion” of extremely fast-moving objects, crucial for applications like monitoring industrial webs, high-magnification flow processes, or defense scenarios involving ballistics and explosions.
These unique features significantly increase the accuracy of critical measurements in research and development. In industrial settings, our solutions facilitate improved real-time visual monitoring and enhance ergonomics, leading to substantial cost savings in manufacturing. CAVILUX laser illumination ensures the highest possible image quality across various applications and is ideal for both high-speed and machine vision cameras. The products feature a compact, robust design suitable for both laboratory and production line environments, with fiber coupling enabling flexible installations even in limited spaces.
Applications:
- Ballistics and Explosions
- Flow and Spray Imaging
- Flow Process Monitoring
- High-Speed Imaging
- Machine Vision
- Shockwave Imaging
- Surface Topography
- Welding Imaging
Make Time visible
Optronis
Many processes run so fast or are barely visible to the human eye and so we fail to see the detail. But progress lies close to our hearts, and so Optronis has dedicated itself to addressing this problem since 1986. They are passionate about creating ways of making ultra-fast processes visible so that industry, science and research arrive at the best solutions faster and to greater effect.
They have been working in the field of ultra-fast optical measuring systems since the very beginning. Optronis has its roots in the company ARP (Applications of Research in Photonics) which was founded in France in 1986 and industrialized prototypes of streak cameras that had been developed at the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) in Strasbourg. They have been drawing on the resulting know-how for the CamRecord slow-motion cameras for many years, and now similarly for the high-performance CamPerform Machine Vision cameras in the last few years. They use the expertise they have accumulated for their high-speed cameras to drive forward progress in industry.
With the help of high-speed cameras as precision technical instruments, processes which are invisible to the human eye can be analyzed – and ultimately optimized.
Light Measurement Solution
See Fast
Technologies
SeeFast Technologies designs, manufactures and sells smart high speed cameras.
High speed: from 200 to 500 frames per second in full resolution, and more with ROI.
Smart: an FPGA, Field Programmable Gate Array, embedded inside the camera, to authorize in real time, ultra high speed image processing (at the camera frame rate).
The purpose of their products: To offer the possibility to achieve real time image processing during high speed shooting, in order to reduce the amount of data transmitted and to make the following possible:
- real time data transfer through standard interfaces like USB2, Ethernet…
- achieve high speed feedback loop.
- long time recording on standard PC.
Their customers: These cameras are dedicated to OEMs, vision integrators, researchers and more… for which standard high speed camera features are not enough and who are looking for a superior level of integration to save computer ressource consumption and to have a complete embedded solution.
Their engineers are specialized in:
- VHDL programming for FPGA,
- GUI (Graphical User Interface) design,
- design of electronic cards for images processing.
With these skills, they propose, with specifications and based on their products, the following services:
– development and integration of custom algorithms,
– development of custom Graphical User Interface (GUI),
– dedicated intelligent or smart high speed camera design.
